Order preserving quotient lifting properties (Q2125183)

The article under review deals with the quotient lifting property (QLP) for a pair \((X, J)\), where \(X\) is a real Banach space and \(J\) is a closed subspace of \(X\). The author introduces a weaker related concept, involving the lifting of nonnegative bounded linear operators and compact operators. He also presents interesting conditions under which this property is preserved by subspaces and quotient spaces. The article is nicely written and well-motivated. In the view of the reviewer, this is a valuable addition to the study of Banach spaces and of bounded linear operators between them.
