During the past two decades, several generalizations of the classical Minkowski inequality for a closed convex hypersurface \(\Sigma\) with induced metric \(\gamma\) in \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\) have been accomplished in different formats in several types of spaces. An improvement of the Minkowski inequality to include star-shaped surfaces was made [\textit{P. Guan} and \textit{J. Li}, Adv. Math. 221, No. 5, 1725--1732 (2009; Zbl 1170.53058); \textit{P. Guan} et al., Pure Appl. Math. Q. 6, No. 4, 999--1012 (2010; Zbl 1230.52020)]. A further extension of the inequality under the condition on the hypersurface that it encloses a bounded region was performed by \textit{V. Agostiniani} et al. [Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 244, No. 1, 51--85 (2022; Zbl 1498.35213)]. Moreover, \textit{S. Brendle} et al. [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 69, No. 1, 124--144 (2016; Zbl 1331.53078)] extended the inequality to convex star-shaped hypersurfaces with induced metric in the anti-de Sitter Schwarzschild space. Very recently \textit{J. Scheuer} [``Minkowski inequality and constrained inverse curvature flows in warped spaces'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2005.11236}] investigated the Minkowski-type inequalities for general warped product spaces which allow non-spherical infinity. Now let us go back to 1999 when \textit{G. T. Horowitz} and \textit{R. C. Myers} [``The AdS/CFT correspondence and a new positive energy conjecture for general relativity'', Phys. Rev. D 59, No. 2, Article ID 026005, 12 p. (1999; \url{doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.59.026005})] had discovered a complete static spacetime (\(\mathbf{M}^{n+1}, - \phi^{2}dt^{2} +g_{\text{HM}}\)) with negative cosmological constant. The time-constant slice of this spacetime is an asymptotically hyperbolic manifold with flat toroidal conformal infinity. This is called the Horowitz-Meyers geon (\(\mathbf{M}^{n}, g_{\text{HM}}, \phi\)), where \(\phi\) is the static potential. In this paper, the authors extend the previous results on the Minkowski inequality in the static spacetime to toroidal surfaces in an asymptotically hyperbolic manifold with flat toroidal conformal infinity and prove a sharp inequality for a toroidal hypersurface in the three and four-dimensional Horowitz-Myers geon.
