This article deals with the analysis of the Navier-Stokes system with density-dependent viscosity. The system is considered in a bounded domain and thus it is endowed with the vorticity-slip boundary condition. There are two main results. First, the authors claim the existence of the strong solution near equilibrium state and, second, the author announce the existence of low-Mach number limit. The proof of the solution existence is given by means of the Hilbert regularity of solutions. One may have doubts whether the method is applied correctly as the smallness of the initial condition is written awkwardly. The proof of the second result (the existence of the low-Mach number limit) is simplified to `similarly as in ...'. To sum up, the article can be seen as a Section 4 from [\textit{A. Valli}, Ann. Sc. Norm. Super. Pisa, Cl. Sci., IV. Ser. 10, 607--647 (1983; Zbl 0542.35062)] adjusted so it can contain the variable viscosity coefficients.
