The Bellman function of the dyadic maximal operator in connection with the dyadic Carleson imbedding theorem (Q2136082)

In this paper, the author provides an alternative proof and expression of the Bellman function of the dyadic maximal operator in connection with the dyadic Carleson embedding theorem that appeared in [\textit{A. D. Melas}, Adv. Math. 192, No. 2, 310--340 (2005; Zbl 1084.42016)]. The author also evaluates the Bellman function of four variables of the dyadic maximal operator. A noteworthy aspect of the author's approach is that the usual Bellman function techniques associated with induction, Monge-Ampere equations, etc., are not utilized; rather the author relies on combinatorial structures of maximal operators.
