In this paper, the authors study conditions under which a conformal vector field is tangent to a null hypersurface in a Lorentzian \(n\)-manifold, including the case of Killing vector fields. Moreover, they give sufficient conditions for a constant mean curvature null hypersurface to be an orthogonal leaf of the foliation induced by a closed and conformal vector field.
