Parametric geometry of numbers was introduced by \textit{W. M. Schmidt} and \textit{L. Summerer} [Acta Arith. 140, No. 1, 67--91 (2009; Zbl 1236.11060)]. It gives rise to a new range of problems in Diophantine approximation. In this paper the authors employ a slightly more general theory which is called the multiparametric geometry of number. They consider the following two different settings to set the theory: the first one is based on weighted Diophantine approximation, while the second concerns Diophantine exponents of lattices. In both cases the authors set intermediate exponents. Afterwards they distinguish the weighted version of Dyson's transference theorem and an analogue of Khintchine's transference theorem for Diophantine exponents of lattices into chains of inequalities between the intermediate exponents.
