This article provides a low regularity, local existence result for the Maxwell-Dirac system under temporal gauge. Three ingredients are used: First a decomposition of the field \(A_{\mu}\) in a divergence \(A_{\mu}^{df}\) and curl free \(A_{\mu}^{cf}\) components (which allows to bring us back to Coulomb gauge) as done in [\textit{T. Tao}, J. Differ. Equations 189, No. 2, 366--382 (2003; Zbl 1017.81037)] for Yang-Mills equation under temporal gauge theory, Then the null structure found by \textit{P. D'Ancona} et al. [Am. J. Math. 132, No. 3, 771--839 (2010; Zbl 1196.35177)] for the Maxwell Dirac system under Lorentz gauge, Finally a family of nonlinear estimates given by \textit{P. D'Ancona} et al. [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 364, No. 1, 31--63 (2012; Zbl 1255.35016)]. The author thus gets the existence for the field in Sobolev space of index regularity as low as \(A_{\mu}^{df}\in H^{5^+/8}\) and \(A_{\mu}^{cf}\in H^{1^+}\).
