One of the most well-known homological conjectures states that every Artin algebra has finite (left and right) little finitistic dimension. In general, this homological invariant is bounded below by the depth and above by the delooping level and neither of these are left-right symmetric without further assumptions (see for example [\textit{E. L. Green} et al., J. Algebra 136, No. 1, 37--50 (1991; Zbl 0727.16003)]). The paper under review establishes that for Artin algebras \(A\) with a unique non-injective indecomposable projective (left or right) module, the dominant dimension of \(A\), the left depth of \(A\), the (left) little and big finitistic dimension of \(A\), and the left delooping level of \(A\) all take the same value. In particular, this gives a positive answer to a conjecture of Marczinzik proposed in [\textit{R. Marczinzik}, ``Finitistic Auslander algebras'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1701.00972}]. For these algebras, it follows that the depth, the little and big finitistic dimension and the delooping level are all left-right symmetric homological invariants because the dominant dimension is (see [\textit{B. J. Mueller}, Can. J. Math. 20, 398--409 (1968; Zbl 0155.07503)]) Using this fact, the author deduces that the Gorenstein symmetry conjecture holds for this class of Artin algebras. As a consequence of the main result, all the above statements hold for non self-injective Artin algebras with positive dominant dimension and with at most two simple modules. This left-right symmetry fails for Artin algebras with two simple modules if the condition about dominant dimension is dropped (for instance see Example 2.2 of [\textit{C. U. Jensen} and \textit{H. Lenzing}, Manuscr. Math. 39, 1--13 (1982; Zbl 0498.16023)]).
