Descriptor systems of integer and fractional orders (Q2141258)

The book is a very interesting mathematical study of descriptor (singular) systems of classic-integer and fractional orders. There are described very detaily the continuous in time -- differential state equations and as well discrete -- difference state equations. As the particular case, the so called positive systems are considered too. Also some extensions to nonlinear (in the inputs) systems are given. The book concentrates on the mathematical basics and analysis of the state equations of the considered classes but system stability is discussed as well. The book is very nicely written and may be suggested for researchers interested in mathematical background of control systems theory. Unfortunately, no any parts on possible practical applications of the considered systems.
