The automorphism group of a valued field of generalised formal power series (Q2142479)

Let \(k\) be a field, \(G\) a totally ordered abelian group, \(k(G)\) the fraction field of the group ring \(k[G]\), \(k((G))\) the field of generalized power series and \(v\) the canonical valuation on \(k((G))\). Let \(K\) be a field between \(k(G)\) and \(k((G))\). In this paper, the authors study the group \(v-\mathrm{Aut}~K\) of valuation preserving automorphisms of \(K\), and its subgroups \(v-\mathrm{Aut}_{(k)}~K\) and \(v-\mathrm{Aut}_k~K\) of \(k\)-stable resp. \(k\)-automorphisms.
