The authors study global-in-time dynamics of the discrete predator-prey model with Deriso-Schnute nonlinearity, \begin{align*} x_{t+1}&=F(1-\gamma x_t)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}(1-\gamma \alpha y_t)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}x_t(1-h_1) \\ y_{t+1}&=G(1-\gamma y_t)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}(1-(1-\gamma\beta x_t)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}})y_t(1-h_2), \end{align*} where \(-1\leq \gamma<0\), \(F\), \(G\), \(\alpha\), \(\beta\) are positive constants, and \(0\leq h_1, h_2\leq 1\) are the fractions of the populations (harvest). First, trivial, semi-trivial, and non-trivial fixed points are confirmed, with its stability, and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation. Second, the model without harvest term is studied in details, motivated by the chaotic regime induced by the \(3\)-periodicity. The chaotic attractor is illustrated by computer aided analysis. Finally, the effect of harvest is examined by theoretical and numerical calculations.
