This paper deals with the following fourth-order neutral differential equation with positive and negative coefficients \[ \left( r(t)(y(t)+p(t)y(t-\tau ))^{\prime \prime }\right) ^{\prime \prime }+q(t)G(y(t-\alpha ))-h(t)H(y(t-\sigma ))=0. \] Sufficient conditions are obtained for the oscillation of the unbounded solutions. The basic assumption is \(\int\limits_{0}^{\infty } \frac{1}{r(t)}dt<\infty .~\)Moreover, two examples are given to illustrate the main results.
