The one-dimensional flow of a compressible heat-conducting fluid is under investigation in this article. The authors examine a weak solution -- its existence and uniqueness together with the stability estimate. This well-posedness of weak solution in 1D is an interesting question which has not been tackled yet -- the research of the one-dimensional flow (connected with names such as Kawohl, Khazhikhov, Shelukhin) is focused on the notion of strong solution whose existence requires quite regular initial data. On the other hand, the presented article assumed rough initial data -- required regularity is \(BV\cap L^1\) and authors use the heat kernel with the \(BV\) coefficients to reach the local-in-time well possedness, stability and existence of solution for close-to-steady-case initial data.
