In this paper, the authors proposed an intraguild predation model with Holling type I functional response incorporating prey refuge and competitive predators. The mathematical model is of four species interactions which include intraguild predation. The authors investigated the persistence, local stability, global stability and bifurcation of the system. They also paid attention to the significant qualitative results that are expected to arise from the interplay of biotic drivers such as the refuge of the phytoplanktons and interspecifific competition between predator 1-predator 2 populations. The model, at first sight, is very simple, which can be seen as the Lotka-Volterra model in four dimensional. However, dynamic behaviors seem very complicated. Specially numeric simulation seems very interesting. This article is very interesting, and I believe it will attract many scholars to do more work in this direction.
