A \((2n+1)\)-dimensional differentiable manifold is called contact manifold if there exists a 1-form \(\omega\) on the manifold such that \(\omega \wedge (d\omega)^n\not=0.\) A hypersurface of a Lorentzian manifold is called null hypersurface if the metric tensor of the manifold is degenerated on it. In this paper, the authors have proved existence of contact structures on null hypersurfaces by using the rigging technique. They have constructed several examples. The authors have also established a criterion associated with Sasaki rigging and Betti number.
