On the extension of unitary group automorphisms of Cuntz algebras (Q2151119)

The author considers a unital purely infinite \(C^*\)-algebra \(A\) and discusses the extension of unitary group automorphisms to \(*\)-automorphisms (or \(*\)-anti-isomorphisms) on \(A\). He proves that the bijective map \(\theta_\varphi\) between the sets of projections, induced by an isomorphism \(\varphi\) between the unitary groups of two unital \(C^*\)-algebras, is an orthoisomorphism, for the Cuntz algebras and for simple unital purely infinite \(C^*\)-algebras having 2-divisible \(K_0\)-groups.
