A closure of \(A\) on a topological space \((X, \tau)\) equipped with an ideal \(\mathcal{I}\) is defined as the set \(Cl^*(A)=A \cup \{ x \in X; A \cap U \notin \mathcal{I}\) for each open neighborhood \(U\) of the point \(x \}\). This closure generates the topology \(\tau ^*\) on \(X\), where \(\tau \subseteq \tau^*\). A set \(U\) is said to be \(\theta\)-open, if for each its point \(x\) there is an open neighborhood \(V\) of \(x\) such that its closure is contained in \(U\). Based on this a topology \(\tau_{\theta}\) is obtained with \(\tau_{\theta} \subseteq \tau\). The local closure function is defined by \(\Gamma (A) = \{ x\in X; Cl(U) \cap A \notin \mathcal{I}\) for each open neighborhood \(U\) of the point \(x\). Its properties, as well as relations between the ideal and related topologies are studied.
