Given a quiver, its double may be viewed as a noncommutative symplectic space, in the sense that it admits a natural bi-symplectic structure, which then induces a symplectic structure on its representation space. In the paper under review, based on some previous results obtained by Crawley-Boevey, Etingof, Ginzburg, Schelder, Holland, etc., the author showed the commutativity of the non-commutative reduction and the non-commutative quantization of such a noncommutative symplectic space. Via the classical and quantum trace maps, he also showed that such a commutativity induces the commutativity of the quantization and reduction on the space of the quiver representations, and hence fits very well with the principle proposed by Kontsevich and Rosenberg in the study of noncommutative algebraic geometry.
