A family of ideals \(I_1,\ldots,I_n\) is called \textit{sequentially transverse} if for \(i=1,\ldots,n-1\), \(I_1\cdots I_i\cap I_{i+1}=I_1\cdots I_{i+1}\). \textit{L. L. Avramov} [Am. J. Math. 103, 1--31 (1981; Zbl 0447.13006)] constructed obstructions that could detect the non-existence of DG-module structures of complexes over other complexes. In the paper under review, the authors explore the vanishing of Avramov obstructions for the minimal free resolution of products of sequentially transverse ideals. Along the way, the authors compute Koszul homology of the maximal ideal in quotients defined by products of sequentially transverse ideals and ask whether or not the minimal free resolution of the quotient defined by a product of sequentially transverse ideals admits the structure of an associative DG-algebra, assuming the quotient by each ideal separately has a DG-algebra minimal free resolution.
