Suppose \[ A_3(p)=\left | \left\{m\in\mathbb{N}:\exists m_1,m_2,m_3\in\mathbb{N}, \frac{m}{p}=\frac{1}{m_1}+\frac{1}{m_2}+\frac{1}{m_3}\right \}\right|, \] where \(p\) is a prime number. It is proven that \[ \sum_{p\leq x} A_3(p)\ll x(\log x)^3(\log\log x)^2. \] The proof of the main result is explained, several auxiliary statements are proven. Such notions as an Egyptian fraction and a ternary Egyptian fraction are recalled. The Erdös and Straus conjecture, which is related to a ternary Egyptian fraction and a certain Diophantine equation, is noted.
