Let \(\Lambda\) be an Artin algebra and let \(\mathcal{M}\) be an \(n\)-cluster tilting subcategory of mod-\(\Lambda\). Let \(\mathcal{S}(\mathcal{M})\) be the full subcategory of the submodule category of \(\Lambda\), denoted by \(\mathcal{S}(\Lambda)\), consisting of all monomorphisms in \(\mathcal{M}\). In this paper the authors construct two functors from \(\mathcal{S}(\mathcal{M})\) to mod-\(\underline{\mathcal{M}}\), the category of finitely presented (coherent) additive contravariant functors on the stable category of \(\mathcal{M}\). They show that these functors are full, dense, objective and, as a consequence, they induce equivalences from the quotient categories of the submodule category of \(\mathcal{M}\) modulo their respective kernels (see Corollary 4.2). As was pointed by the authors, these functors can be considered as a higher version of the two functors studied by \textit{C. M. Ringel} and \textit{P. Zhang} [Math. Z. 278, No. 1--2, 55--73 (2014; Zbl 1344.16011)] in the case \(\Lambda=k[x]/{\langle x^n \rangle}\) and generalized later by \textit{Ö. Eiríksson} [J. Algebra 486, 98--118 (2017; Zbl 1407.16005)] to self-injective Artin algebras. In the last section the auhtors provide some applications. For example: they present a duality from mod-\(\underline{\mathcal{M}}\) to \(\overline{\mathcal{M}}\)-mod; they prove a higher version of Hilton-Rees Theorem for \(n\)-cluster tilting subcategories and a higher version of Auslander's direct summand conjecture and they apply the previous results to reprove the existence of \(n\)-Auslander-Reiten translation \(\tau_n=\tau\Omega^{n-1}_{\Lambda}\) in \(n\)-cluster tilting subcategories. Finally, they establish an equivalence between the stable categories of the functors of projective dimension at most one.
