Integrability properties of the four-dimensional equation of universal hierarchy (Q2155156)

The author studies the integrability properties of a four-dimensional equation (introduced in [\textit{L. V. Bogdanov} and \textit{M. V. Pavlov}, J. Math. Phys. 58, No. 9, 093505, 13 p. (2017; Zbl 1377.37093)]) belonging to the so-called universal hierarchy. The local symmetries and recursion operators of this equation are obtained. New nonabelian coverings can be obtained by the action of the recursion operators on some local symmetries. The nontriviality of the second group of exotic cohomologies of the symmetry algebra is proved. The obtained results are very interesting, especially those in connection with exotic cohomologies of Lie algebras and their use in the study of symmetries of PDEs.
