Truncated sums for Hecke-Rogers type identities and Andrews-Hickerson's Bailey pair (Q2155931)

Following the work of \textit{G. E. Andrews} and \textit{M. Merca} [J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 119, No. 8, 1639--1643 (2012; Zbl 1246.05014)] on the truncated version of Euler's pentagonal number theorem, several authors have studied truncated sums of \(q\)-series identities. In this paper the author derives five new Hecke-Rogers type identities and also give their truncated versions. As an application the author deduces several linear inequalities for several restricted partition functions.
