The Radon transform on circular arcs arises in a modality of Compton Scattering Tomography in translational geometry proposed in [\textit{J. Webber} and \textit{E. L. Miller}, Inverse Probl. 36, No. 2, Article ID 025007, 20 p. (2020; Zbl 1466.44002)]. The reconstruction method presented there uses Volterra integral equations, whose numerical implementation has stability issues. This paper presents an alternative inversion formula which can be straightforwardly implemented in the Fourier domain. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated on simulated data.
