The authors consider periodic differential delay equations in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), where the delay is a small parameter denoted by \(\tau\). The main assumption is the existence of a (suitably non-degenerate) periodic solution for \(\tau=0\). Their aim is to prove the existence of a family of periodic solutions for all sufficiently small delays, smoothly parametrized by \(\tau\). They discuss the difficulties of using the classical implicit function theorem. For the proof of the main result they apply the M-polyfold implicit function theorem by \textit{H. Hofer} et al. [Geom. Funct. Anal. 19, No. 1, 206--293 (2009; Zbl 1217.58005); Polyfold and Fredholm theory. Cham: Springer (2021; Zbl 1479.58002)], which is new in the context of differential delay equations.
