Invertible and isometric weighted composition operators (Q2167809)

Weighted composition operators appear often in studying the isometries of Banach spaces of analytic functions on the open unit disc of the complex plane. In the paper under review, the authors propose a number of axioms on such Banach spaces which when satisfied provide characterizations of the invertibility of a given weighted composition operator WCO. Thus, a~number of known results are generalized. Besides the simplification of some proofs, the main issue of the note is to check that several of the most common Banach spaces of analytic functions -- Hardy, weighted Bergman, weighted Bloch or weighted Besov spaces, among others -- do satisfy the suitable axioms provided, so that invertible WCO are described.
