Exact solutions and dynamical behaviors of the Raman soliton model with anti-cubic nonlinearity (Q2169537)

In this paper, the authors study travelling wave solutions of the Raman soliton model with anti-cubic nonlinearity. Under different parameter conditions, by means of the bifurcation theory of dynamical systems, they obtain a variety of exact solutions such as solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, periodic peakons and peakons, compacton solutions etc. Compared with previous work, their work extends the results on the following aspects. Firstly, the solutions of the model are considered under general parameter conditions, while the solutions were obtained in previous work under specific parameter condition. Secondly, more forms of solutions of the model are discovered, such as periodic peakons and peakons, compacton solutions etc. Additionally, these abundant dynamic behaviors of solutions are helpful to understand some phenomena in optical waveguides and have the potential applications in nonlinear optics. However, the dynamical system method can only be used to study the single soliton solution of the model, but can not be applied to study the multi-soliton solution deeply, which is the limit of this method.
