This paper studies a fractional-order model of Covid considering the fear effect of the media and social networks on the community. The model considered here is a type of SEIR-D epidemic model describing the pandemic infection. The virus is located in the human body and can transmit from human to human. \(S\) indicates susceptible individuals. \(E\) represents the exposed compartment that has infected but can carry and transmit the virus without showing any symptom. \(I\) means infected, namely showing positive in Covid. \(R\) is the recovered individuals and \(D\) is the death class. In the ordinary differential equation system, two parameters \(\alpha_1\) and \(\alpha_2\) represent the level of the fear to be infected and death from Covid. The equilibrium points of the system and the existence and uniqueness of the solutions have been examined analytically. Local stability of the disease-free and coexisting equilibrium points have been analyzed. The flip bifurcation has been analyzed by using the discretization process. Some numerical simulations have also been conducted.
