Let \(X\) be a compact connected CR manifold of odd dimension \(\geq 3\) with the CR structure \(T^{1,0}X\). Let \(X\) be acted by some \(\mathbb R\)-action \(\eta\) with the associated infinitesimal generator \(T\) which is transversal, that is: \(T\) preserves the CR structure and together with \(T^{1,0}X\oplus T^{0,1}X\), it generates the whole complex tangent bundle of \(X\). In this paper, it is studied the problem of \(\mathbb R\)-equivariant CR embeddatibility of \(X\). Jointed with Marinescu, the second and third authors of the paper, under review, studied this problem in the work recently published in [\textit{C.-Y. Hsiao} et al., Mich. Math. J. 70, No. 1, 55--113 (2021; Zbl 07390739)]. But the approach employed in that paper does not work when \(T\) admits some non-compact orbit flow. In this case, the already mentioned embeddatibility problem exhibits some serious obstacles to employ the mentioned approach. In this paper, the authors propose a new approach to study this problem. For this purpose, assuming \(X\) admits a rigid CR line \(L\), they introduce a certain operator \[ -iT:C^\infty(X, L^k)\rightarrow C^\infty(X, L^k) \] and extend it to the \(L^2\) space by \[ -iT: \mathrm{Dom}(-iT)\subset L^2(X, L^k)\rightarrow L^2(X, L^k). \] Accordingly, they show that if \(L\) is positive, then the underlying \(\mathbb R\)-action comes from a torus action on \(X\). Indeed, this result is a consequence of a key observation of the authors asserting that if there exists a Riemannian metric on \(X\) where the \(\mathbb R\)-action acts by isometries with respect to it, then the action comes from a torus action on \(X\). Using the mentioned results, the authors establish in particular an \(\mathbb R\)-equivariant Kodaira embedding theorem for CR manifolds and in particular for irregular Sasakian manifolds. It is also provided an analytic proof of an \(\mathbb R\)-equivariant Boutet de Monvel embedding theorem for strongly pseudoconvex CR manifolds. As the consequences of these results the authors obtain Torus equivariant Kodaira and Boutet de Monvel embedding theorems for CR manifolds and Torus equivariant Kodaira embedding theorems for complex manifolds.
