The paper introduces and studies a new iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a finite family of multivalued strictly pseudo-contractive mappings and the set of solutions of equilibrium problems in Hilbert spaces. For the proposed method, a strong convergence theorem is established under suitable control conditions. As application of the main results, the author considers optimization problems with constraints. A numerical example is also given to demonstrate the implementability of the algorithm.
