The following system of linear ODEs coupled with the Schrödinger equation is considered in the paper:\begin{align*} &\dot X(t) = AX(t)+Bw(0,t),\; X(t) \in {\mathbb C}^n,\; t\ge 0,\\ &w_t(x,t) = -i w_{xx}(x,t),\; x\in (0,1),\; w(\cdot,t)\in L^2(0,1),\\ &w_x(0,t) =0,\; w_x(1,t) = u(t)+d(t),\\ &w(x,0)= w_0(x),\\ &y_m(t) = [CX(t),w(0,t),w(1,t)], \end{align*}where \(u(t)\), \(d(t)\), and \(y_m(t)\) are the control, disturbance, and output signals, respectively. The stabilizability and observability assumptions are imposed on this system. A disturbance estimator and extended state observer are constructed for the above system in the case \(d(\cdot)\in L^\infty(0,\infty)\). Then an output feedback controller is proposed to stabilize the trivial solution of the coupled system. The issues of well-posedness and exponential decay of solutions of the closed-loop system are treated as well. The control design technique is based on backstepping analysis.
