A reality-based algebra \((A, B)\) is a finite dimensional algebra \(A\) over the complex numbers \(\mathbb{C}\) and a distinguished basis \(B=\{b_0=1,b_1\cdots, b_d\}\) such that the following postulates hold: (I) For all~~\(i,j,m\), \(b_ib_j=\sum_{m=0}^{d} \lambda_{ijm} b_m\) with \(\lambda_{ijm}\in \mathbb{R}\). (II) There is an algebra anti-homomorphism \(\ast\) of \(A\) whose order divides \(2\) such that \(b_i\in B\) implies \(b_i^\ast \in B\). (III). For all~~\(i,j\), \(\lambda_{ij0}\neq 0\) if and only if \(j=i^\ast\); and \(\lambda_{ii^\ast0}=\lambda_{i^\ast i0}>0.\) In this manuscript, the author generalizes the result obtained by \textit{A. Herman} et al. [J. Algebra 479, 173--191 (2017; Zbl 1369.05220); Commun. Algebra 46, No. 1, 90--113 (2018; Zbl 1387.05273)]. Also, the result discussed by \textit{A. Antonou} and \textit{H. I. Blau} on \(7\) and \(8\)-dimensional algebras whose linear characters have multiplicity one [J. Algebra 522, 134--169 (2019; Zbl 1427.16033)]. Precisely, he proves that a \(2\)-dimensional irreducible representation of a reality-based algebra (RBA) with a standard degree map over the complex numbers is completely determined up to equivalence by the other complex irreducible representations of the algebra and the activity of its given anti-automorphism on the distinguished basis. The proof of main theorem is nicely built up through a series of lemmas and propositions.
