In this manuscript, the author considers the following coupled system of wave equations with Dirichlet boundary controls \[ \left\{ \begin{array} {ll} U''-\triangle\ell U+AU =0, & \mbox{in} \ (0, +\infty) \times \Omega, \\ U=0 \ \mbox{on} \ (0, +\infty) \times \Gamma_0, & U=DH \ \mbox{on} \ (0, +\infty) \times \Gamma_1, \end{array} \right. \] with the initial condition \[ t=0: \ (U,U')=(\hat{U}_0, \hat{U}_1) \ \mbox{in} \ \Omega, \] where \(U=(u^{(1)}, \ldots , u^{(N)})^T\) represents its state variable, the real matrix of size \(N \times N\), \(A\), is a given coupling matrix, \(H=(h^{(1), \ldots, h^{(M)}})^T\), \(M \leq N\), is the boundary control, and the real \(N \times M\) matrix \(D\) is a boundary control matrix. Firstly, the author recalls some results on the generalized exact boundary sinchronization with respect to a given generalized synchronization matrix \(\Theta_p\) for system (1). Based on these results, the author analyzes the determination of generalized synchronization matrices and then the corresponding generalized exact boundary synchronizations for the given coupled system (1). This study is divided in two cases, first the case that only the coupling matrix \(A\) is given and after the case that both \(A\) and \(D\) are given. Some examples confirm the theoretical results obtained in this paper.
