A four-dimensional hyperchaotic Lorenz-type system has been analized in the paper. Results on pitchfork bifurcation, Hopf bifurcation, singularly degenerate heteroclinic cycle, ultimate bound estimation, global exponential attractive set, heteroclinic orbit and other topics, are provided. The analysis is comprehensive and interesting.
