This paper is concerned with representation theory of quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra \(U_q(\mathfrak{g})\) introduced by \textit{T. Bozec} [Math. Ann. 362, No. 3--4, 773--797 (2015; Zbl 1364.17013); Compos. Math. 152, No. 10, 1999--2040 (2016; Zbl 1377.16008)] in geometric investigation of the representation theory of quivers with loops. They used the same symbol \(U_q(\mathfrak{g})\) as Drinfeld-Jimbo's quantum group to represent quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra. Actually, representation theory of quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebras \(U_q(\mathfrak{g})\) seems to have similar structure to that of Drinfeld-Jimbo's quantum group. For instance, there is Kashiwara's crystal base equivalent. In this paper, first, they reviewed the definition of quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra by generators and relations. They checked that the co-multiplication introduced in [\textit{T. Bozec}, Math. Ann. 362, No. 3--4, 773--797 (2015; Zbl 1364.17013)] is well-defined (Proposition 2.5). They proved the triangular decomposition \(U_q(\mathfrak{g})\simeq U^-\otimes U^0 \otimes U^+\) (Theorem 3.2) conjectured in [\textit{T. Bozec}, Compos. Math. 152, No. 10, 1999--2040 (2016; Zbl 1377.16008)]. They introduced highest weight module, Verma module, irreducible highest weight module, and integrable representation of quantum Borcherds-Bozec algebra. They obtained a character formula of irreducible highest weight module (Proposition 5.4) as a corollary of \textit{T. Bozec} et al. [``On the number of points of nilpotent quiver varieties over finite fields'', Preprint, \url{arXiv.1701.01797}]. They proved that integrable representation is completely reducible (Theorem 5.1).
