    The authors consider the following linearly coupled system with nonlocal terms \[ \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} -\Delta u +\lambda_1 u=(I_\alpha*F(u))f(u)+\beta v~\hbox{in}~\mathbb{R}^N,\\ -\Delta v +\lambda_2 v=(I_\alpha*F(v))f(v)+\beta u~\hbox{in}~\mathbb{R}^N, \end{array} \right. \] where ``\(*\)'' stands for the convolution, \(N\geq 3\), \(\alpha\in(0,N)\), \(\lambda_1,\lambda_2,\beta>0\), \(I_\alpha\) is the Riesz potential, \(f(u)=F^\prime(u)\). Assuming \(F\in C^1(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})\) satisfies \begin{itemize} \item[\((F_1)\)] there eixsts \(C>0\) such that \(|sf(s)|\le C(|s|^{\frac{N+\alpha}{N}}+|s|^{\frac{N+\alpha}{N-2}})\) for \(s\in \mathbb{R}\), \item[\((F_2)\)] \(\lim\limits_{s\to0}\frac{F(s)}{|s|^{\frac{N+\alpha}{N}}}=0\) and \(\lim\limits_{s\to\infty}\frac{F(s)}{|s|^{\frac{N+\alpha}{N-2}}}=0\), \item[\((F_3)\)] there exists \(s_0\neq 0\) such that \(F(s_0)\neq 0\), \item[\((F_4)\)] \(f(u)\) is odd and has constant sign on \((0,\infty)\), \end{itemize} the authors show, via variational methods, that there exists \(\beta_0\in (0,\sqrt{\lambda_1\lambda_2})\) such that for \(\beta\in (0,\beta_0)\), the above system has a nontrivial vector solution \((u_\beta,v_\beta)\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^N)\times H^1(\mathbb{R}^N)\).
