Essentially, the authors state sufficient conditions for having the equivalence between two heat kernels of two parabolic operators on a noncompact Riemannian manifold (Theorem 2.5). This result provides a positive answer on a conjecture raised by \textit{M. Fraas} et al. [Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. Ser. A 28, 495--509 (2010; Zbl 1198.35119)].
