In the present paper, a class of singular linear systems of first order is considered, and a generalized fractional order feedback controller of Caputo type is introduced. The existence and uniqueness of solutions are studied and two different types of formulas for the case that there exist solutions are provided. Stability properties are also discussed. The proposed theory is illustrated by numerical examples.
