Given a formal power series \(f(t)=c_1t+c_2t^2+\ldots\), \(c_i\in k\), where \(k\) is a commutative ring \textit{M. E. Hoffman} [J. Algebra 194, No. 2, 477--495 (1997; Zbl 0881.11067)] introduced a \(k\)-linear operator \(\Psi_f \) such that \[ \Psi_{f\circ g}=\psi_f\psi_g ,\] where \[f\circ g=f(g(t)).\] In the paper under review, operators associated with multivariate series with no constant term are studied. An analogue of the composition rule is proved.
