In this paper, the following equation with state-dependent delay is considered: \[ y'(t) = -c(t)y(t-\tau(t,y(t))), \] where \(c: [t_0, \infty)\to \mathbb{R}\) and \(\tau: [t_0, \infty)\times [0, k]\to \mathbb{R}\) are continuous and positive. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive bounded solutions satisfying a kind of left boundary condition. Then the long time behaviour of solutions is investigated with exponential upper and lower bounds.
