In this present paper, the authors investigate self-adjoint singular operators associated with the singular Sturm-Liouville expression given by \[ Ly:= - [p(t) y^{\Delta} (t)]^{\nabla} + q(t)y(t) = \lambda y(t), \ \ \ t \in (-\infty, \infty)_{\mathbb T}, \tag{1}\] where \(p, q\) are real-valued continuous functions on unbounded time scale \(\mathbb T\) and \(p(t) \neq 0\) for all \(t \in \mathbb T\). The authors prove that the regular Sturm-Liouville operator on time scale is semi-bounded from below. Also, by applying the splitting method, they provide conditions to ensure that the self-adjoint operator associated with the singular expression (1) has a discrete spectrum. The authors also investigate the continuous spectrum of this operator. Finally, the authors provide some examples to illustrate their results.
