A d-CS-Rickart module over a Dedekind domain is a module $M$ such that the image $N$ of every endomorphism lies above a direct summand of $M$, i.e., $N$ contains a direct summand $K$ of $M$ such that $N/K$ is small in $M/K$. The author presents various equivalent properties of d-CS-Rickart modules, and determines the structure of d-CS-Rickart modules over a discrete valuation ring. For a d-CS-Rickart module over a nonlocal Dedekind domain $R$, he shows that $M$ lies between the direct sum and the direct product of the $p$-primary components of $M$ over all prime ideals $p$ of $R$.
