The homogeneity degree of a topological space \(X\) is the number of orbits of the action of the homeomorphism group of \(X\) on \(X\). In the paper under review, the authors study dendroids of low homogeneity degree, they show for example that the arc is the only dendroid with homogeneity degree 2, also they prove several partial results towards a classification of smooth dendroids of homogeneity degree 3. It remains an open question whether there actually exist any smooth dendroids of homogeneity degree 3 other than dendrites and fans. An interesting question that appears in the paper is the following: Does there exist a universal smooth dendroid (i.e. one which contains a copy of every smooth dendroid) which is \(\frac{1}{3}\)-homogeneous (where \(\frac{1}{3}\)-homogeneity means that the space have homogeneity degree \(3\))?
