Let \(E\) be a Banach space, \(A:E\supset D(A)\to 2^{E}\) a quasi-\(m\)-accretive multivalued operator, \(F:E\to E\) a nonlinear perturbation, and \(\lambda >0\). The paper under review is devoted to the study of the existence of solutions of the inclusion \(g\in Au+\lambda u+Fu\) by reducing it to the problem \(u=L_{\gamma }(-Fu+g)\) for sufficiently large \(\gamma \), where \(L_{\gamma }\) is the resolvent of \(A\), and applying a theorem of Darbo-type. The general results are used to study problems arising in porous media and growing cell populations.
