Let \(\Gamma\) be a finitely generated group and \(\mu\) be a probability measure on \(\Gamma\). It is known [\textit{W. Woess}, Random walks on infinite graphs and groups. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2000; Zbl 0951.60002)] that when a finitely supported random walk on a free product of abelian groups is adapted to the free product structure, then the Martin boundary coincides with the geometric boundary. In the present article the author establishes that this result is true, even if the finitely supported random walks is non-adapted to the free product structure.
