The authors discuss a numerical algorithm for the fractional Allen-Cahn equation with precise nonlocal mass conservation. The approach relies on an operator splitting method and a fourth-order compact scheme for the Riesz derivative. It provides an \({\mathcal O}(\tau^2+h^4)\) error order of approximation, where \(\tau\) is the time step and \(h\) is the space grid size. Numerical experiments are also included.
