Assume that \(G\) is a soluble group factorized as a product \(G=AB\) of two subgroups \(A\) and \(B.\) It was conjectured by Wielandt and proved by \textit{C. Casolo} [Arch. Math. 57, No. 1, 12--13 (1991; Zbl 0731.20017)] that if \(X\) is subnormal in \(\langle X, X^g\rangle\) for all \(g\in A \cup B,\) then \(X\) is subnormal in \(G.\) Recently, \textit{A. N. Skiba} [J. Algebra 436, 1--16 (2015; Zbl 1316.20020)] has generalised the concept of subnormality, introducing \(\sigma\)-subnormality, in which \(\sigma\) is a partition of the set of all primes: \(X\) is \(\sigma\)-subnormal in \(G\) if there is a chain of subgroups \(X=X_0\leq \dots \leq X_n=G\) with \(X_{i-1} \unlhd X_i\) such that the prime factors of \(X_i/\text{Core}_{X_i}(X_{i-1})\) all belong to the same member of \(\sigma\) for \(1\leq i\leq n.\) The authors present a \(\sigma\)-subnormal version of the previously mentioned result: if \(X\) is \(\sigma\)-subnormal in \(\langle X, X^g\rangle\) for all \(g\in A \cup B,\) then \(X\) is \(\sigma\)-subnormal in \(G.\)
