Let \(F\) be an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. In [\textit{A. Giambruno} and \textit{M. Zaicev}, Adv. Math. 174, No. 2, 310--323 (2003; Zbl 1035.16013)] it is proved that the \(T\)-ideal associated to the upper block triangular matrix algebras \(UT(d_1,\ldots,d_m)\) is the product of the \(T\)-ideals of the identities of its diagonal blocks: \[Id(UT(d_1,\ldots,d_m )) = Id(M_ {d_ 1} (F))\cdots Id(M_{d_m} (F)).\] The authors consider a similar setting for \(G\)-graded identities, where \(G\) is an arbitrary finite cyclic group. Given an \(m\)-tuple \((A_1 ,\ldots,A_m)\) of finite dimensional \(G\)-simple algebras, the authors study the factorability of the \(T_G\)-ideals \(Id_G((UT(A_1,\ldots,A_m), \tilde\alpha))\) of the \(G\)-graded upper block triangular matrix algebras \(UT(A_1 ,\ldots, A_m)\) endowed with elementary \(G\)-gradings induced by some maps \(\tilde \alpha\). When \(G\) is a cyclic \(p\)-group the authors prove that the factorability of the ideal \(Id_G((UT(A_1,\ldots,A_m), \tilde\alpha))\) is equivalent to the \(G\)-regularity of all (except for at most one) the \(G\)-simple components \(A_1,\ldots,A_m\), as well to the existence of a unique isomorphism class of \( \tilde\alpha\)-admissible elementary \(G\)-gradings for \(UT(A_1,\ldots,A_m)\). Moreover, the authors present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the factorability of \(Id_G((UT(A_1,A_2), \tilde\alpha))\), even in case \(G\) is not a \(p\)-group, with some stronger assumptions on the gradings of the algebras \(A_1\) and \(A_2\).
