In this paper authors study a nonlinear Perron-Frobenius approach for stability and consensus of discrete-time multi-agent systems. Notion and background material on multi-agent systems, positive, type-K order preserving, sub-homogeneous maps and concept of periodic fixed points are given. two examples are given to illustrate the theory discussed and analysis of a susceptible-infected-susceptible (SIS) model and a novel algorithm able to solve the max-consensus problem is presented. This paper generalizes the results for discrete-time multi-agent system (MAS) whose transition matrix is stochastic to the nonlinear case.
