A coincidence point theorem and its applications to fractional differential equations (Q2189525)

The authors of this interesting paper first establish a coincidence point theorem for mappings of contractive type in complete metric spaces and several coincidence point theorems for certain classes of sublinear and superlinear operators in ordered Banach spaces. Using these results, they then proceed to prove the existence of (positive) solutions to (systems of) initial value problems for fractional differential equations involving Riemann-Liouville fractional derivatives.
